BRAIDING PATTERN

FOR FRONTAL

Your natural hair should be braided going all back in the most flattest pattern.

If your hair is silky do one cornrow going horizontal across your hairline and the rest going backwards

FOR CLOSURE

Your natural hair should be parted where you plan to part on your closure, have the braids going down horizontally for the first four cornrows and the rest of the cornrows going backwards

YOUR SCALP

If your doing the on and off method, every 2-3 days apply a light moisturizer or oil to the scalp. This helps to eliminate dryness and itching and maintains the health of your scalp

THE LACE

CUTTING THE LACE

When cutting the lace you want to make sure you hold back the baby hairs and cut the lace in a zig zag pattern to hide the line of demarcation.

CUTTING THE LACE ON A SILK BASE closure

When cutting off lace on a silk base closure or frontal you will notice that there is baby hair on the lace before the silk starts please don’t cut off the lace where the baby hairs are attached, the lace is there to give a smooth and natural transition into the silk. cut the lace just before the baby hair in a zig zag pattern to hide the line of demarcation.

CUSTOMIZED HAIRLINE on closures

The hairline already comes looking natural with a gradual look, if you choose to have it more thinner please don’t over tweeze as lace pieces naturally looses hair over time.

LACE KNOTS

BLEACH KNOTS METHOD

bleaching the knots can give a very natural look to your closure or wigs but we don’t suggest to bleach knots as this makes the hair extremely fragile, but if you choose to please get a professional to do so.

MAKEUP METHOD

STEP ONE

Turn your lace over so you see the lace

STEP TWO

Using your liquid foundation and make up brush add a layer of foundation then spray with hair spray do this process twice and let it air dry or use a blow dryer on cool.

ELASTIC BAND

The elastic band method is great way to help keep your unit extra secure and have the lace lay extremely flat. If you find that having the elastic band is too much for you it can be easily removed but cutting the thread and removing the elastic band.

APPLYING UNIT

ON & OFF METHOD

If your goal is to maintain or bring your natural hair back to health and use our units as a protective style we suggest the on and off method. The on and off method means that you will remove the unit at the end of your day.

STEP ONE (WIG GRIP)

Applying your wig grip. The wig grip is a hair band that was invented to replace bobby pin, hair clips and combs. It's also protects your edges and keeps your unit in place even with the toughest wind!!!

STEP TWO (STOCKING CAP)

Apply stocking cap, Choose a skin toned stocking cap if you can find one in your tone get a nude one and apply makeup on top of the stocking cap, and place it over the wig grip.

STEP THREE (UNIT PLACEMENT)

Place unit in the front where you want it to sit hold it in place firmly

Place your next hand on the inside at the back of your unit pull the elastic band down around your neck and then pull the unit down.

Look in the mirror and make any placement adjustments needed for your unit to sit neat and flat. Make sure if you have a lace frontal unit that the lace is sitting flat and is not folded under or rippled.

SEWING method

If you decide to sew down your unit avoid sewing through the lace. A simple tacking down in between the the wefts of the unit is good enough to ensure that your unit stays in place

STYLING

when you want to create a part on your closure or unit take a water, and add water to the area where you want the part to be, part the hair and blow dry the part in place using the nozzle of the blow dryer.

If you want to create a more visible part you can use a tweezer and gently pluck out some hair carefully, please be careful not to tear the lace. If your closure or unit is lace add some concealer in the parted area for an even more natural look!.

LACE CLOSURE & FRONTALS

Lace closures and frontals are extremely delicate if it's not handled with care it can end up thinning, balding, getting holes and rips in then lace. When parting and style be very gentle and avoid itching and excessive parting and brushing.

WASHING hair extensions & units

Your hair extensions or unit should be washed weekly especially if you wear it daily. Keeping your hair extension and unit clean will help keep the movement and lustre and prevent it from acting up especially in the back where it rubs against your clothes and skin

When your washing your hair extension or unit keep the strands in the natural falling position run it under lukewarm water then add (Sulphate Free) shampoo doing a squeezing motion from top to bottom. Repeat twice then add your conditioner with the same squeezing motion make sure to wash out all conditioner or it may leave the hair oily when dried, if its wavy to curly texture u can leave a little bit of conditioner in

DRYING

it's always best to have your hair extensions or unit air dry, squeeze out as much water as you can, towel dry, for hair extensions you can sit under a hooded dryer or let air dry for units lay flat or hang it to drip dry all the way or at least half way before you blow dry

COMBING

We suggest that you use a hair extension brush and start from the ends of the hair working your way up to the top!

PRODUCTS

No products are really needed but can use our light hair serum and heat protector when flat ironing. Stay away from products that have alcohol as they will dry out your Virgin Hair extensions over time. if you need to use holding spray make sure to wash out
